Keirsey’s Four Temperaments
David Keirsey grouped the sixteen types into four <b>temperaments</b>, reading just two letters: sensors split on J/P into <b>Guardians</b> and <b>Artisans</b>, intuitives split on T/F into <b>Rationals</b> and <b>Idealists</b>. It’s the best-known regrouping of the 16 types, and a useful lens when four letters feel like too much detail. The grouping is Keirsey’s framework; these descriptions are our own.
