Using Personality Library means agreeing to what's below. It's short, and it's written to be read.

This is the important part. Everything here is for reflection and interest only. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal, financial or career advice, and nothing here diagnoses anything.
Some tests are based on published, research-backed questionnaires. Others use original questions inspired by well-known frameworks, for insight or for fun — the badge on each card tells you which. Either way, a result is an indication, not a verdict, and not a clinical assessment.
The mental-health screeners are screening tools, not diagnostic ones. A result suggesting you might benefit from talking to someone is exactly that — a suggestion to talk to someone qualified. It is not a diagnosis, and a reassuring result is not a clean bill of health.If you're struggling, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services — in the UK, your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans on 116 123.
Never delay seeking help, or ignore advice you've been given, because of something you read here.
The directory is not a recommendation
Where we list practitioners, we check their registration with the relevant professional body before listing them and re-check it periodically. That is all a listing means. It isnot an endorsement, a recommendation, or a referral, and we're not responsible for the services any listed practitioner provides. Please make your own checks before working with anyone. Paid listings are labelled as such.
Using the site
You're welcome to use Personality Library for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't scrape it wholesale, republish the written content as your own, use it to build a competing database, or try to break, overload or interfere with it.
Who owns what
The written type descriptions, compatibility write-ups, artwork, code and design are ours and are protected by copyright. The underlying psychological frameworks are not ours and we make no claim to them.
MBTI and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are trademarks of The Myers & Briggs Foundation. Enneagram, DISC and other frameworks are the property of their respective owners. The tests here are independent and unofficial, inspired by these models, and are not affiliated with, licensed by, or endorsed by any of them.
What we don't promise
The site is provided "as is". We've taken care with the scoring and the writing, and we test it — but we don't promise it's free of errors, always available, or right for any particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from anything you decide on the back of a result. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be excluded.
Links out
We link to other sites, including practitioners' own. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.

Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer elsewhere, this doesn't take away the protections you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
