Socionics names this Conflict. It isn’t a rating of the two people — it falls out of where each type’s elements sit in the other’s Model A, and it would say the same about any ILI/ESE pair.

ILI is Gamma, ESE is Alpha. Different quadras want different things from a room, so even where you get on, the ambient values need translating.
Where the pressure lands
ILI’s vulnerable element is Fe; ESE’s is Ni. Those are the two sore spots — in Socionics almost every hard relation is really a story about one person’s strongest element sitting on the other’s weakest.
