ESE (The Enthusiast)'s leading element lands squarely on SLI (The Craftsman)'s vulnerable function, so ESE sees SLI's weak spot constantly and effortlessly — usually without meaning to. Meanwhile SLI's best work bounces off ESE unnoticed. SLI keeps trying to earn ESE's regard; ESE isn't withholding it and often has no idea any of this is happening.
