EII (The Humanist)'s base function is SLE (The Marshal)'s point of least resistance, and the reverse — so simply being yourself lands, unavoidably, on the other's sorest spot. Socionics names this Conflict. It isn’t a rating of the two people — it falls out of where each type’s elements sit in the other’s Model A, and it would say the same about any EII/SLE pair.

EII is Delta, SLE is Beta. Different quadras want different things from a room, so even where you get on, the ambient values need translating.
Where the pressure lands
EII’s vulnerable element is Se; SLE’s is Fi. Those are the two sore spots — in Socionics almost every hard relation is really a story about one person’s strongest element sitting on the other’s weakest.
